Casagrande C6XP-2 for HumeLink East, New South Wales (Australia)

At the Bannaby Substation in New South Wales, the Casagrande C6XP-2 was used in micropile configuration for foundation trials related to the HumeLink East project, one of Australia’s major energy transmission infrastructure programs.

For this application, the C6XP-2 supported drilling operations for a micropiled precast foundation system, where a precast concrete cap transfers structural loads to 150–250 mm diameter micropiles made of high-strength mono bars grouted into rock.

In questo contesto, la C6XP-2 ha supportato le operazioni di perforazione per un sistema di fondazioni prefabbricate su micropali, in cui un plinto prefabbricato in calcestruzzo trasferisce i carichi strutturali a micropali di diametro compreso tra 150 e 250 mm, costituiti da barre ad alta resistenza fissate nella roccia.
