PowerFC “Boost Up” tunes for Twins, and upgraded Y pipes!

In partnership with Team Rotary Revolution, I am now offering PowerFC “boost up” tunes, along with an upgraded Y pipe. Meant for stock turbos, stock injectors, upgraded intercooler or V mount, and 3” exhaust, your typical “bolt-on” mods. 1 bar boost target.

“How does this work”?
You ship us your PowerFC ECU, we use our dealer Apexi software to look at your current tune, have a chat with you, make some changes, and then ship it back to you ready to go.

“How much”?
$450, with a +$50 core charge for the Y pipe if you can’t provide a 99 spec pipe for us to modify. This covers the consultation, tune, the Y pipe modification, and the shipping back to you. Prices on the Y pipes are likely to go up in the future.

“How much power”?
About 300whp, probably more but we aren’t tuning at the edge. The goal is more power and a better turbo transition, in a reliable package.

“Can I just use a datalogit and mail my tune”?
No, the Datalogit can’t access everything on the PowerFC that our dealer hardware and software can access. We need your physical ECU, or we can supply a new PowerFC ecu for you.

“I want more boost than 1 bar”
If you want more boost, it is up to you to tune for higher boost levels using our map as a base map. We can give some guidance, but ultimately this is not a high power solution. What it is, is a well tailored base map to get you running and driving and tracking your car, not setting dyno records.

“Who is doing the tuning”?
Ma, the owner of Team Rotary Revolution. He has been tuning all sorts of PowerFC setups on rotaries for 25+ years. He has an in depth knowledge of PowerFC from both road, track, and competition use.

Got my R3 ECU mount installed in my own car, hopefully for the final time!

Easy access to see ECU status lights, as well as the onboard PDM lights. Easy to disconnect the ECU power. Also has a quick release cover for wiring access without having to dismount the ECU. Also has a mount for an 8 port can hub from CanChecked.

Even comes with a shortened door sill panel 🙂

Full Race Body Kits!

Yes, that’s right. I’m proud to announce the Team Rotary Revolution race body kits are available for purchase!

First off, they are not cheap. Fiberglass kits start at 500,000 Thai Baht, Carbon about 650,000thb. 50% deposit up front, built to order.

These are not meant for street use. These are full-on race car kits. About 100mm of ground clearance. Expect to chop off lots of metal, and run a 295+ width tire, we recommend Yokohama as they have been our sponsor for over 10 years. Our cars have the suspension pickup points moved up, essentially dropping the entire body. That said… this would be an insane street kit with an air suspension setup, like the Liberty Walk Super Silhouette RX-7, but with a real race pedigree behind it. Would be full-on madness in the best way.

So, full kit. Front and rear bumpers, hood, fenders, skirts, and a massive wing. And a roof scoop if you’re into sexy stuff like that. Also carbon race dashes, and tons of other bits can be included. Come visit the shop (by appointment) and we will walk you through it. Happy to build race engines too..

Yay new product!

Carbon heat shields! Protect those strut towers from head soak, dress up the engine bay a bit. A nice blend of form and function 🙂

I installed this on my car with Turblown EWG manifold and EFR without removing anything. If you have less clearance than that, you might need to take off your turbo to get it on the car. Easy enough, but worth mentioning. Bolts right on, and keeps all the OEM bolt holes accessible.

Get your orders in, first ones will ship out end of this week. Hoping to have some on cars at DGRR for you east coast guys to see in person, but it’s cutting it close time-wise..
