PowerFC “Boost Up” tunes for Twins, and upgraded Y pipes!
In partnership with Team Rotary Revolution, I am now offering PowerFC “boost up” tunes, along with an upgraded Y pipe. Meant for stock turbos, stock injectors, upgraded intercooler or V mount, and 3” exhaust, your typical “bolt-on” mods. 1 bar boost target.
“How does this work”?
You ship us your PowerFC ECU, we use our dealer Apexi software to look at your current tune, have a chat with you, make some changes, and then ship it back to you ready to go.
“How much”?
$450, with a +$50 core charge for the Y pipe if you can’t provide a 99 spec pipe for us to modify. This covers the consultation, tune, the Y pipe modification, and the shipping back to you. Prices on the Y pipes are likely to go up in the future.
“How much power”?
About 300whp, probably more but we aren’t tuning at the edge. The goal is more power and a better turbo transition, in a reliable package.
“Can I just use a datalogit and mail my tune”?
No, the Datalogit can’t access everything on the PowerFC that our dealer hardware and software can access. We need your physical ECU, or we can supply a new PowerFC ecu for you.
“I want more boost than 1 bar”
If you want more boost, it is up to you to tune for higher boost levels using our map as a base map. We can give some guidance, but ultimately this is not a high power solution. What it is, is a well tailored base map to get you running and driving and tracking your car, not setting dyno records.
“Who is doing the tuning”?
Ma, the owner of Team Rotary Revolution. He has been tuning all sorts of PowerFC setups on rotaries for 25+ years. He has an in depth knowledge of PowerFC from both road, track, and competition use.
