The highlight of our event was undoubtedly the announcement of our 10 lucky winners! 🎁

Witnessing their excitement was truly heartwarming. We're ecstatic that our lucky winners walked away with incredible prizes. Here's a shoutout to our amazing speakers who made it unforgettable:

Vanessa Tang kicked off the day with a captivating presentation on the future of digital delivery workflows in the Built Environment, emphasizing the importance of embracing technology for efficiency and sustainability.

Dr. Ho Pin Teo shared invaluable insights from his extensive experience in the industry, focusing on innovative strategies for urban development and the role of technology in shaping smart cities.

Mohammad Haziq took us through an engaging session on the latest trends in BIM training, highlighting the critical skills needed for the next generation of professionals in the Built Environment sector.

Ryan Liew captivated the audience with his visionary talk on the integration of AI and VR in construction, showcasing how these technologies are revolutionizing project planning and ex*****on.

AcePLP Career Day was an enriching experience!

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated in our Career Day. Close to 140 graduates of the Built Environment registered to join us, and we hosted graduates from Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic, PSB Academy, BCA Academy and representatives from ITE College East. Your presence and enthusiasm made our event truly special.

Highlights of the day included insightful talks by industry leaders, an exciting lucky draw, a fascinating tour of the Built Environment Innovation Hub, and a delicious sugar-free Yole froyo treat for all attendees.

We look forward to continue our collaboration with tertiary institutions to empower the next generation of industry leaders. Stay tuned for more pictures coming out of AcePLP Career Day!

Dr Teo Ho Pin, Senior Advisor at Surbana Technologies, will share his experience on the Digitization and Sustainability for the Built Environment, during the AcePLP Career Day happening on the 13 July 2024 (Saturday), 9am – 12.30pm, at the Built Environment Innovation Hub, BCA Braddell Campus.

With over 30 years of experience in Township Management, Dr. Teo served as Mayor of North West District (2001-2020) and as Member of Parliament for Bukit Panjang (1996-2020). A legislator for 23 years, he chaired Government Parliamentary Committees for National Development, Environment & Water Resources, Home Affairs, and Law. Currently, Dr. Teo is an Independent Director for 5 public listed firms and an adviser to several companies in the Built Environment industry.

Haziq Walad, an AcePLP BIM Trainer, will share his expertise in at AcePLP’s Built Environment Career Day, happening 13 July 2024 (Saturday), 9am – 12.30pm, at the Braddell Campus.

Haziq became a trainer because he finds joy in fostering growth in others. He guides to ensure they have the necessary skills to be effective and efficient in using Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies. Haziq runs courses on , a regulatory submission platform that transforms the current regulatory landscape and practices through adoption of BIM technologies and collaborative workflows.

Haziq believes that the implementation of CORENET X unlocks opportunities for information integration among various software platforms that enhances overall workflow productivity. He is amazed by the meticulousness of Singapore’s regulatory approval processes, and would love to tell you more about the compliance code for fire-engine accessways and the importance of the fire-engine hardstanding!
