롤스로이스는 Trent 1000 내구성 강화 패키지 인증 이후, 정비 및 오버홀 시설에서 정비 중인 엔진에 해당 패키지를 즉시 적용을 시작했습니다.
불과 두 달 만에 업그레이드된 첫 번째 엔진들이 고객에게 납품되고 있습니다.
또한 롤스로이스가 정비 및 오버홀 네트워크 확대에 지속적으로 투자한 덕분에, 앞으로 더 많은 항공기에 이 혁신적인 업그레이드를 빠르게 적용할 준비가 되어 있습니다.

Trent 1000, 더 강력해지다!

롤스로이스의 Trent 1000 내구성 강화(Durability Enhancement) 패키지 1단계가 인증을 마치고 전 세계 기단에 본격 적용이 시작됩니다.
이번 업그레이드는 엔진의 가장 중요한 부분인 고온부(hot section)에 집중했으며, 이를 통해 Time on Wing(정기 점검 전까지 엔진이 운용되는 시간)이 두 배 이상 늘어나 고객에게 더 높은 자산 활용도, 유지보수 부담 경감, 그리고 안정적인 기단 운영 계획을 제공합니다.

이와 함께 새로운 영상 시리즈 ‘Trent 1000: Inside Stories’를 공개했습니다. 이번 영상 시리즈는 엔진 성능 향상을 위해 헌신한 롤스로이스 임직원들의 노력과 정성을 소개합니다.

Rolls-Royce is proud to support the Royal Thai Air Force as the first operator in the Asia Pacific region to receive the T56 Series 3.5 engine upgrade for its C-130H transport aircraft. The upgrade will deliver greater reliability and improved performance, enabling the Royal Thai Air Force to reduce costs and extend the service life of its fleet until at least 2040.

With over 60 Rolls-Royce engines in operation across Thailand’s armed forces, this programme highlights the trust placed in our proven technologies to power mission-critical operations, and reflects our long-standing commitment to Thailand’s defence sector in partnership with Thai Aviation Industries.

As C-130 fleets remain an essential capability across Southeast Asia, the Series 3.5 upgrade offers a pathway for operators to strengthen readiness, enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs for decades to come.

Rolls-Royce was honoured to welcome HE Nikesh Mehta, British High Commissioner to Singapore, and HE Bettina Fanghänel, German Ambassador to Singapore, along with Mr Martin Kent, British Trade Commissioner for APAC, to our Seletar campus last week.

Our distinguished guests were received by Rolls-Royce and Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) leadership including Giovanni Spadaro, John Kelly and Chris Pattinson. They toured our Regional Training Centre, Fan Blade Singapore and the SAESL Seletar Facility, and learned more about our activities and capabilities in Singapore.

영국 항모전투단 현재 전개가 계속되는 가운데, 롤스로이스는 MT30이 보여주는 놀라운 힘을 자랑스럽게 소개합니다.
전단을 이끄는 항공모함 HMS 프린스 오브 웨일스는 최대 109MW의 전력을 생산하는 전기추진 시스템을 갖추고 있습니다. 이 전력은 단 2 기의 MT30 가스터빈 발전기와 4 기의 중속 디젤 발전기를 통해 공급되며, 이 중 약 3분의 2가 MT30 발전기에서 나옵니다. MT30의 첨단 기술은 해군 추진체계에 혁신적 변화를 가져와, 거대한 함정을 바다 위에서 추진하는 데 필요한 가스터빈 수를 획기적으로 줄였습니다.
