Vicalloy I Permanent Magnet Alloy | Lork Group

Vicalloy I is an age-hardenable, machinable permanent magnet alloy based on the Fe-Co-V system, with a typical composition of 52Co-10V-Fe. It is widely used in applications such as hysteresis motor rotors, Wiegand sensor wires, hysteresis brakes, instrument bias magnets, and DC motor field coils. Lork Group offers cold-rolled strip (0.05–1.0 mm), cold-drawn wire (Φ0.05–3.0 mm), and hot-rolled/forged rod (Φ5–200 mm), with custom sizing available upon request. TA1 is an alpha-phase, commercially pure titanium grade characterized by excellent corrosion resistance and good biocompatibility. With a density of only 4.5 g/cm³—approximately 40% lighter than steel—it exhibits outstanding corrosion resistance in environments such as seawater🌊, wet chlorine gas💨, and various acidic and alkaline media💦.
Lork offers TA1 titanium products in specifications including cold-rolled sheets (thickness ≥0.3 mm) and hot-rolled medium-to-heavy plates (thickness 4.0–60.0 mm), with widths and lengths customizable to specific requirements. Stellite 12 is characterized by high hardness and good toughness but poor machinability, classifying it as a difficult-to-machine material. Processing typically requires carbide or ceramic cutting tools, low cutting speeds, low feed rates, and an ample supply of coolant.

Lork Group completed an order of Haynes 25 (also known as L-605 or WF-11) alloy round bars exported to Switzerland in December 2025, once again demonstrating our sincere commitment to cobalt-nickel alloy material standards and our ability to solve customer application problems and meet customer needs. The alloy bars were manufactured strictly according to ASTM F90 standards, in two specifications: 30.9mm x 98mm and 20.0mm x 125mm. They underwent our rigorous, standardized, and professional production and inspection processes. Every step ensured that the final product passed all quality tests before delivery.
