Starting from 2020 we've been developing our creative project "A Temporary Loss of Information".
A Temporary Loss of Information is a short experimental film by Dan Smith. It looks at themes such as Surveillance, Repetition and Isolation.
Eight artists were given randomly chosen titles and asked to make a 5 minute chapter inspired by the title alone. These artists including Dan Smith, were Vladimir Vechniy, Alyona Pimanova, Maxim Ilyukhin, Daria Setevinets, Kristina Kolesnikova, Andrey Slaschilin and Ivan Nikich-Krilichevskiy.
In June 2021 we had a premier of our film in the culture centre ZIL in Moscow followed by the exhibition of works created by the films contributing artists. All works on show were created throughout 2020 - 2021 and were the artists personal reactions to experiencing a public health emergency as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
