Today, Portugal celebrates one of its most meaningful national occasions: Portugal Day, Camões Day and the Portuguese Communities Day.

It is a day that honors not only the legacy of Luís de Camões, one of the greatest figures in Portuguese literature, but also the spirit of a nation that has long looked beyond the horizon: exploring, connecting cultures and building bridges across continents.

At EPCM₁₀, this day carries a special meaning.

Born from Portuguese roots and growing alongside remarkable projects in Romania, we are proud to carry forward values that have always defined Portugal: ambition, expertise, respect, innovation and a global mindset.

Last week, we came together for a weekend focused on teamwork, connection, communication and a bit of engineering creativity.

Through interaction, team challenges and discussions about organizational culture, we had the chance to discover ourselves better, strengthen our core and enjoy time together outside the working sites.

And because engineers will always be engineers… we also took on a serious challenge: building catapults. And guess what! All five groups were surprisingly competitive 💪 👷‍♂️ 👷‍♀️ 💪

A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the great atmosphere throughout the teambuilding.

Strong projects are built by strong teams and events like these remind us why.

Turns out the only thing required to work in engineering is curiosity, skill, and the stubbornness to solve problems.

Today we celebrate the women who bring exactly that to every project. No matter what kind of project.

Happy International Women’s Day to the women who calculate, design, coordinate and build the world around us.

The future is under construction as the women are part of the team building it.

Here’s a quick sneak peek at the evolution of one of the largest 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 currently under construction, not too far from Bucharest, where some of our colleagues from the EPCM10 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 are mobilized.
These two shots tell part of the story, but what’s coming in the next months will be even more impressive.
