Greenlab joined ’s Sustainability Week, an initiative bringing together more than 400 professionals to strengthen ESG knowledge across the bank and its partner ecosystem.

Representing Greenlab, Isabel Santos shared a simple but important message with novobanco’s client managers: you are in the right place to drive the transition.

Banks are a key channel between sustainable finance and companies. When clients are well advised, sustainability doesn’t have to start with large investments. Even smaller steps can create value and accelerate change.

MIPIM, it’s a wrap. 👊🏼

A few intense and inspiring days in Cannes, surrounded by the global real estate community and the conversations shaping the future of our cities.

Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to reconnect with long-standing partners, meet new collaborators and exchange perspectives with professionals from across the industry - from investment and development to technology and sustainability. These moments of dialogue are exactly what make gatherings like MIPIM so valuable.

A special thank you to everyone who took the time to meet, share ideas and explore potential collaborations with . The relationships and conversations started here will certainly continue beyond Cannes.

Wrapping up the week, a few reflections from SRU Semana da Reabilitação Urbana.

Over the past days, the event brought together public authorities, developers, investors, industry and experts to discuss one of the defining challenges for our cities: how to regenerate the built environment while addressing the housing shortage and accelerating the transition to more sustainable buildings.

Urban rehabilitation is evolving towards a more digital, industrialised and sustainable model, reflecting the broader transformation of the construction and real estate sectors. At the same time, the housing challenge remains central.

Portugal’s built environment also highlights the urgency of this challenge: around 1.5 million buildings are over 50 years old, reinforcing the importance of rehabilitation and modernization of the existing building stock. 🚧

At Greenlab, we were very pleased to be part of these conversations and to exchange perspectives with so many stakeholders shaping the future of our cities.

The Santa Marta Building, developed by , has successfully achieved the BREEAM In-Use - Asset Performance certification, with a Very Good rating and a score of 60%.

This milestone highlights the value of assessing, managing, and continuously improving operational performance, supporting more efficient, resilient, and future-ready assets throughout their lifecycle.

One of these moments was a karaoke session filled with great energy, fun, and cultural exchange, where we reinforced the importance of diversity and the human connections that make Greenlab a stronger and richer team.

Last Friday, December 12, the Greenlab and ECOCHOICE SA teams came together for our Christmas dinner, a special moment to step back from day-to-day work, strengthen connections, and celebrate the year we shared.

The evening was marked by festive dynamics, a symbolic gift exchange, good conversations, and a strong sense of team spirit, reflecting the collaboration and commitment that define our culture.

More than a celebration, it was an opportunity to recognise the collective effort behind a year of challenges, achievements, and continuous growth, and to look ahead with motivation and confidence.
Thank you to everyone who made this year what it was. We move forward together into the next one.

The only thing missing was our team, but in January, we’ll happily repeat the experience, this time all together.
