Zuppio Our goal is to make the lives of other Salesforce partners easier! Zuppio is free on Appexchange so you can try it out right now, no strings attached.

Our application Zuppio was designed specifically for Salesforce ISV partners - or basically anyone who develops and distributes managed packages for Salesforce users. Our goal is to make the lives of other Salesforce partners easier - we simplify and streamline the process of updating non-upgradeable components across multiple Salesforce orgs with the same managed package installed. We eliminated the process of manually doing certain things after each iteration of package development - now using Zuppio you can select every org with your package that needs manual update, choose what non-upgradeable components you need delivered on customer orgs and just click 'deploy' - Zuppio does the rest for you.

ZuppIO is currently undergoing a major infrastructure and authentication architecture update following new Salesforce security requirements.

This includes:

PKCE
Refresh Token Rotation
updated connected application policies

As part of this transition, ZuppIO is also moving from a free-to-use model to a commercial support/subscription model.

After years of growth, the platform now requires:
✔ ongoing infrastructure maintenance
✔ security and compatibility updates
✔ operational monitoring
✔ engineering support

We appreciate everyone who continues supporting ZuppIO during this transition period.

You deployed your Salesforce changes.
Everything passed. Everything looked fine.

And then… things started breaking.

Integrations stopped working.
Automation failed.
Users couldn’t access what they needed.

Sounds familiar?

The truth is, most Salesforce deployment errors don’t happen during deployment.
They appear after release, when real users and real data come into play.

👉 That’s the gap most teams underestimate.

Deployment confirms that changes are applied.
It does not confirm that the system actually works.

And this becomes even more painful when you’re working with multiple orgs.

You end up fixing the same issue again and again — manually.

In our latest article, we break down:
✔ the most common Salesforce deployment errors
✔ why they appear after release
✔ what teams are missing in their process

Salesforce Connected Apps changes look like a security update.

In reality, they create an operations problem.

Because once you:
– restrict uninstalled apps
– enforce stricter OAuth flows
– change token behavior

You don’t just improve security.

You introduce new failure points in production.

At scale, it gets worse:

– integrations fail differently across orgs
– configs drift
– fixes become manual
– monitoring becomes reactive

👉 The issue isn’t the change itself.
👉 It’s what happens after deployment.

And most teams aren’t prepared for that.

Full breakdown here:

Most teams think OAuth updates are about security.

In Salesforce, they’re about operations.

Because once you enable:
– PKCE
– refresh token rotation
– stricter Connected App policies

You don’t just change authentication.

You change how integrations behave in production.

At scale, this creates problems:
– tokens rotate differently across orgs
– integrations fail inconsistently
– configurations drift
– fixes become manual

👉 OAuth changes don’t create the chaos.
👉 Lack of post-deployment control does.

Many teams think:
“If deployment is successful — everything works.”

But in Salesforce, that’s not true.

A deployment can succeed…
and the system can still break after release.

Why?

Because real problems appear only when:
• users start working
• data changes
• integrations run
• automation triggers

That’s why monitoring after deployment is so important.

It helps you detect issues before users report them —
and fix them before they impact the business

Many teams think:
“If CI/CD works — deployment is safe.”

But in Salesforce, that’s not how it works.

A deployment can be successful…
and the system can still break after release.

Why?

Because CI/CD focuses on deployment — not on what happens after.

And most issues appear exactly then:
• when real users interact with the system
• when integrations reconnect
• when configurations behave differently

That’s why deployment success doesn’t guarantee system stability

We explained why Salesforce deployments still fail after CI/CD — and what teams should do instead 👇

Salesforce deployment automation tools are essential today.

They help teams:
• deploy faster
• reduce errors
• automate workflows

That’s why tools like Gearset, Copado, and DevOps Center are widely used for managing Salesforce releases.

But there’s one problem most teams overlook:

Deployment doesn’t mean everything works.

After release, teams still deal with:
– broken logic
– missing configs
– inconsistent orgs

That’s where most issues actually appear.

We put together a guide to the top deployment automation tools — and explained what they don’t cover 👇

Salesforce deployment is only part of the process.

Many teams think:
“Deployment is done — we’re good.”

But in reality, problems often appear after release:
• missing configurations
• incorrect permissions
• broken integrations

That’s why post-deployment steps are critical.

Salesforce best practices also recommend validating results, re-checking automation, and monitoring the system after deployment to avoid issues

Without a checklist, teams end up fixing problems manually in production.

We put together a simple post-deployment checklist for multi-org teams 👇

Salesforce deployment is only part of the release process.

Many problems show up after deployment:
• configurations are missing
• permissions don’t work
• environments are inconsistent

This usually happens because teams focus only on deployment — and ignore what comes after.

In reality, planning, testing, and post-release steps are just as important for a successful rollout

We put together the most common Salesforce deployment mistakes and how to fix them 👇

Salesforce deployment is only part of the release process.

Many problems actually appear after deployment:
• missing configurations
• broken permissions
• inconsistent environments

Without a clear checklist, it’s easy to miss critical steps.

We created a simple Salesforce release checklist to help teams manage releases more reliably 👇
