I am pleased to share that the Final Year Project (FYP) on a Smart Irrigation System, which I co-supervised, has been successfully completed by our students Rizwan Zahid, Noor ul Ain and Muhammad Adden at Air University Islamabad Pakistan.
As a thoughtful gift, the students presented rice and wheat cultivated using this system, as shown in the attached image.
Based on the proof-of-concept results, this smart irrigation system has demonstrated promising performance and is expected to deliver higher crop yields and improved water efficiency compared to traditional irrigation methods.

Excited to share that I had the opportunity to deliver an interactive session on “Research and Publications by AI and Traditional Techniques” at Punjab Colleges, Gujarkhan.
We explored practical tools, strategies, and best practices for publishing in high-impact journals and creating meaningful global research impact. It was great to engage with enthusiastic students and faculty, discussing emerging trends in AI-assisted research alongside conventional methodologies.
Grateful to the Department of Information Technology and the organizing team for the invitation and excellent coordination.
Looking forward to more such knowledge-sharing sessions!

I was honored to be invited by Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIUI today to evaluate Final Year Projects (FYPs). It was a great experience to engage with the graduating students and assess the technical depth and innovation demonstrated in their projects. I sincerely appreciate the hard work and dedication of both the students and their supervisors—many of the projects were interesting.
Wishing all the students great success in their future endeavors as they embark on the next phase of their professional journey.
