In ETABS, the PMM ratio is a P–M–M Interaction Ratio, used mainly for concrete and steel columns. It tells you how close a column is to reaching its combined axial load + biaxial bending moment capacity.

A column is subjected to:

• P → Axial load
• Mₓ → Bending moment about the x‑axis
• Mᵧ → Bending moment about the y‑axis

ETABS checks these three demands against the column’s interaction surface (its strength envelope).
