When installing a solar energy system in your home, office, or factory, it is important to ensure the protection of your roof. Make sure to ask the solar installers not to drill holes into your roof, as drilling can damage the waterproofing and later cause water leakage issues.

Often, companies do not carry out proper civil work or waterproofing after drilling, which can lead to roof damage. Even if civil work is done, the chances of complete waterproofing are low.

To avoid this issue, use concrete blocks with a PSI of at least 3000, made by a reputable company. These blocks are a better alternative for fixing solar panels and can last for 20 to 25 years. Although transporting these blocks to the roof can be a difficult task and they are slightly more expensive than civil work, they protect your roof from being drilled and damaged.

Using blocks ensures the safety of your roof and allows for efficient solar panel installation.
