Saudi Arabia's driverless Riyadh Metro opens its first phase on Wednesday, November 27, with three of its six lines ready for commuters. Once complete, it will be the world’s largest metro built in a single phase, covering 176 kilometers with 84 stations.

Initially, the metro will serve up to 1.2 million passengers daily, doubling after full completion. It features 80 bus routes with 842 buses and 2,860 stops, aiming to support Riyadh’s population growth, projected to reach up to 20 million by 2030.

What Is A Rebound Hammer?

Who Invented The Rebound Hammer?
The concrete test hammer was invented in 1954 by Ernst O. Schmidt, a civil engineer in Zurich, Switzerland, and commercially developed by Antonio Brandestini through Proceq, the Swiss company he founded.
