The 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐎) proudly joined the grand celebrations of the 125th Adlaw nan Surigao del Norte on May 15, 2026 — marking the province's founding anniversary with commitment, pride, and dedicated public service!

Our team was present and active throughout the day's festivities:

🏛️ 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 at the Provincial Capitol, Capitol Road — standing together in honor of our province and its people.

🎪 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 at Borromeo St., atbang sa ato Luneta Park — joining the community in celebrating the vibrant culture and heritage of Surigao del Norte.

🎶 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐠𝐣𝐚𝐰 𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 at the Provincial Grandstand — our PICTO personnel provided technical support to the Multimedia Development Section (MDS), livestreaming the concert on the LED Wall outside the Provincial Gymnasium and at the Provincial Research, Innovation, and Science Museum — bringing the celebration to even more Surigaonons! 📡✨

We celebrate a major milestone for digital transformation as the National Digital Connectivity Plan (NDCP)- the country’s first infrastructure master plan for digital connectivity- has been approved by the Economy and Development Council.

This historic step affirms that digital connectivity is now a national priority, opening doors to better access, stronger communities, and more inclusive growth across the country.

For provinces like Surigao del Norte, this brings renewed hope for faster, wider, and more reliable connectivity- fueling education, innovation, governance, and opportunity for all.

The Philippines is moving full steam ahead toward a digital future. In line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to make digital connectivity a national priority, the National Digital Connectivity Plan (NDCP), the country’s first national infrastructure master plan for digital connectivity, had its approval by the Infrastructure Development Committee (INFRACOM), formally confirmed consistent with Executive Order No. 72, s. 2024, during the 7th Economy and Development (ED) Council Meeting, chaired by the President, on January 26, 2026 at the Bahay Pangulo Pavilion, PSC Compound, Otis, Manila.
