☣️🔥 ROTRONICS’ BIGGEST TRAINING INITIATIVE YET 🔥☣️
Starting from the 3rd Quarter of 2025 up to the 1st Quarter of 2026, Rotronics Rescue Corp. proudly trained 240 personnel of Petron Bataan Refinery through our HAZMAT Specialist Training focusing on Benzene and H2S response.
The program was conducted almost weekly at the refinery, with scenarios and exercises tailored specifically to actual plant operations, hazards, and possible emergency situations within the facility.
In firefighting, it’s usually “go, go, go!”
But in HAZMAT incidents, it’s “woah, woah, woah!”
Hazardous materials response requires critical thinking, proper hazard assessment, and disciplined decision-making because many of the dangers cannot be seen by our naked eye. In some cases, even a few parts per million (PPM) exposure can already become a life-and-death situation.
Before the training even started, Rotronics closely coordinated with Petron’s Technical Training Team and Safety Team to ensure that every scenario, exercise, and discussion would be aligned with their operational realities and refinery hazards.
And after the program, the feedback spoke for itself. Participants shared that this was one of the most important and eye-opening trainings they had gone through, and we are proud to share that Petron has confirmed the continuation of the program again this year.
