WoWa House
Ligaya Drive, Sungay South, Tagaytay City, Cavite
Completed: 2024

Set within a lush, tropical setting and the elevated terrain of Tagaytay, this private residence was redesigned as a contemporary retreat that blurs the boundary between indoor and outdoor living. The project is a major renovation of an ancestral home originally built in the 1970s. It previously consisted of a split-level house with an adjacent structure, both located within a single compound.

In this project, the existing main structure was completely overhauled and reconfigured into a two-storey residence featuring high ceilings in the living and dining areas. The house was also extended to accommodate a main kitchen and a service kitchen. The adjacent structure was likewise renovated, expanded, and connected to a newly built structure through a shared common area, creating a more cohesive spatial relationship between the two buildings.

The architecture is defined by clean, modern lines softened by warm natural materials such as wood cladding and extensive glazing. Large openings, balconies, and terraces are strategically positioned to frame garden views and allow natural light to pe*****te the interiors, while deep roof overhangs and shading elements mitigate heat and glare. The integration of landscaped areas, water features, and outdoor living spaces reinforces the home’s strong connection to nature.

The interiors follow a restrained, modern palette that emphasizes openness, height, and light. Double-volume spaces, full-height glass panels, and minimalist detailing give the house a calm and airy atmosphere. Custom lighting fixtures and carefully selected finishes add warmth and character, complementing the architecture.

Overall, this project reflects our interpretation of Modern Filipino Architecture—contemporary and tropical, balancing modern aesthetics with climate-responsive design, functionality, and comfort. The result is a home that feels open and grounded, offering a tranquil living environment while remaining distinctly modern in expression.

NA Residence / "Juliana House"
Filinvest II Subdivision, Batasan Hills, Quezon City
Completed: 2024

Originally planned as a renovation of a two-storey house built in the 1980s, this project evolved into a complete transformation. Initially commissioned to serve as the design Architects and Engineers for the renovation, we completed the plans for the existing structure. However, just before construction began, the owners opted for a fresh start—demolishing the original house and building an entirely new one.

In 2021, we finalized the design for the new structure, but the pandemic caused delays in its construction, which resumed in late 2022. Along the way, the project faced numerous challenges: constant rescheduling, pandemic-related hurdles, soaring material costs, and the need to engage a new contractor to maintain top-notch quality. Despite these setbacks, the vision and determination to see the project through never faltered. Finally, in October 2024, the house was completed and turned over, with some minor additions being currently added.

This 351-sqm home sits on a 495-sqm lot with a front façade facing a bustling road and oriented toward the northwest. The design team carefully positioned windows to minimize noise and heat while maximizing natural light and ventilation. Designed in the Modern Filipino Architectural style, the house features seamless indoor-outdoor transitions, tropical design elements suited to the local climate, and high-quality material finishes.

New Project feature: 3 San Pablo residence renovation.

Another exciting project to start this 2024. This is our fourth project from a previous client.

The old house sits on a 470 sq.m lot area with a gross foor area of 320 sq.m. The house is a split-level structure built around the early '70s and had undergone some minor renovations in the late '90s.

Today, we are tasked to reinvent this decades-old building and bring it into the present - integrating current design trends and latest technologies for a future-proof home fit for sustainable living and is adaptable to the fast changing environment settings. We're going to reinforce the structural elements and replace all the electrical and sanitary components of the house to comply with the updated building standards.

Project status: Contract Documents Phase
Target Construction start: July 2024

We're thrilled to unveil our latest project, the GD Residence, set to grace a 200 sqm lot in Verdana Homes, Binan Laguna.

Our clients, a young couple embarking on their first home, sought a dwelling that harmonizes with the tropical setup of our country while adhering to the design guidelines of the village. In response, our designers drew inspiration from the serene simplicity of Japanese architecture, seamlessly integrated with modern Filipino architecture rooted in its tropical design sensibilities.

Emphasizing openness and fluidity between indoor and outdoor spaces, the design welcomes you with lush front yard landscaping, creating a tranquil yet inviting ambiance. Inside, the foyer/genkan serves as a seamless transition, featuring a functional seating area.

The open-plan layout of the living, dining, and kitchen areas fosters a sense of expansiveness and connectivity, with utility areas thoughtfully situated for convenience.

Characterized by straight lines, natural materials, and neutral tones, the home exudes warmth and simplicity. Well-designed large doors and windows flood the interior with natural light and ventilation, while the ground floor spaces and guest room seamlessly flow into landscaped gardens via the engawa.

Similarly, the family lounge and master bedroom on the second floor open up to a balcony, blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Sustainable technological systems will be integrated into the home's utilities, ensuring efficiency without compromising on aesthetics.
