Quantity Surveyor Coach (freelance)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QS Coach to lead and mentor aspiring Quantity Surveyors.

Qualifications:
Graduate of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Minimum of 10 years solid experience in Quantity Surveying
Strong background in US and Australian estimating practices and approaches

Proven experience handling multiple and diverse construction projects
Highly proficient in Estimating and Cost Planning
Expert in preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
Strong knowledge in Construction

Management principles
Well-versed in FIDIC contracts
Proficient in BIM (3D, 4D, and 5D applications)

Knowledgeable in Project Scheduling and Planning

Ability to teach effectively using a step-by-step or “spoon-feeding” approach

Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:
Train and mentor students or junior QS professionals
Deliver structured and practical QS training (Estimating, BOQ, Cost Control, etc.)
Provide real-world project insights and international standards application
Guide trainees in BIM integration, scheduling, and cost management
Support development of end-to-end QS competencies

WE ARE ALSO HIRING: Outsource Civil Engineer (WFH Setup)
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Civil Engineer for a remote work setup.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Civil Engineering
Minimum of 2 years experience (higher experience is an advantage)
Experience in New Zealand (NZ) projects is a strong advantage
Background in Estimating, Quantity Take-Offs, and BOQ preparation
Knowledge in Construction Management and QS processes
Familiarity with international standards and practices
Proficient in relevant engineering and estimating software (preferred)
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Work Setup:
Work From Home (WFH)
Flexible but output-based
