🍻🔥 150 YEARS OF SPEIGHT’S 🔥🍻

We were bloody stoked when Speight’s asked us to help create something special for their 150 Years of Speight’s celebrations.

The result? A range of Speight’s-themed outdoor fires, custom designed and made right here by Bespoke Engineering.

It’s a real privilege to have been trusted with a project celebrating 150 years of Speight’s history, and we reckon these fires are a pretty cool way to mark the occasion.

150 years of Speight’s. Good on ya mate! 🍺🔥

🔥 Nothing beats a one-off! 🔥

One of the coolest parts of what we do is working with clients to turn an idea into something completely unique — whether it’s a design that represents them, their property, their interests, or something special they’re gifting to someone else.

From the first conversation and a few rough ideas, to the cutting, fabrication and finally seeing the finished fire come together… it’s pretty bloody satisfying! 😎

Every one of these fires has its own story and has been designed specifically for the person it’s going to.

If you have seen these in the flesh tag the owners in their fires — have a look through and tell us… which design do you reckon looks the best? 🔥

🍻 Now this was a pretty cool one!

It was a real privilege to be asked by Speight’s to help design and create a special gift for one of their long-time customers.

We took the idea from the drawing board, put the sparks to work and turned it into something we’re pretty bloody proud of.

A massive thanks to the team at Speight’s for trusting Bespoke Engineering with the job. It’s not every day you get to combine steel, creativity and a bit of good old Kiwi b**r history into one project!

Four months ago we installed our custom Corten steel drinking fountain and matching bench seat at the new Kaka Point toilets and changing room upgrade… and safe to say, the fountain has finally got the tan we were waiting for. 😎

The Corten has rusted up beautifully and is now showing off that rich, weathered look it was designed for. Unlike most of us in South Otago, it actually enjoys standing outside all day!

It was awesome to be part of this project and see the fountain and bench become part of a space that so many locals and visitors use.

Next time you’re in Kaka Point, grab a drink, take a seat, and admire the rust—it’s one of the few times rust is something to be proud of! 🤎
