From factory to racecourse... it was great to have two Australian Olympic 470 sailing teams in New Zealand last week putting the final touches on their new Mackay 470 M10's, Dancing Queen and Fernando 🎉🎉 and then hitting the water alongside the Kiwis for tuning and training sessions 😎.

The boats now head off to Europe for the 2027 season. ⛵️

We're incredibly proud to be cheering on two sailing legends who just happen to be part of the Mackay Boats team.
Jenny Egnot and Sara Tucker are heading to the New York Yacht Club Women’s International Championship as members of Megan Thompson's 2.0 Team of 10, representing New Zealand.
Jenny on mainsheet trim, while Sara takes on downwind trim, as they go up against some of the world's best female sailors.

Go well, sail fast. You've got this, girls! 💪🇳🇿

Not just building boats… ⛵☀️
We loved stepping away from the workshop and onto the water at the VX One Oceania and Australian Winter Championships at RQYS, with our youngest crew member, 10-year-old Vicktor, joining Dad in the action. Blue skies, 22-degree air and water and great VX One vibe.
Congratulations to Team Deadly; Simon Small, Glenn Beebe and Will Bridge. Our thanks to the fantastic VX One Australia Class, and Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.

Meet the Mackay Hybrid. Built for wing foilers who race hard and live for speed. Crafted from a blend of high-modulus carbon and high-grade steel, the Mackay Hybrid is a wing foil mast engineered to optimise hydrodynamics for ultra-fast wing foil racing.
