A little glimpse into the design process behind our latest poolside garden concept 🧡 the brief was to create a more cohesive connection between the existing pool and surrounding landscape, using soft curves, layered planting and feature trees to bring structure, texture and seasonal interest to the space.

One of my favourite parts of the landscape design process is bringing these ideas to life through hand-drawn and colour-rendered plans. There’s something so satisfying about watching a garden design come together on paper!

We’re excited to be back at the award-winning Markovina Vineyard Estate for our third landscaping project at this beautiful venue!

With a busy calendar of weddings and events, timeframes are always tight here, but our crew are knuckling down to transform this entrance with a stunning new schist-clad wall.

From blockwork to the finishing touches, it’s all hands on deck to have this grand entrance ready by the end of the week!

Ben & Sophie first met with the owners of this centre in September 2025 to begin the brainstorming and design process. It’s been an awesome journey to be a part of, and we wish Matakana New Shoots Children's Centres all the best for a successful opening.

Before & after 🙌 this is a project we are immensely proud of! What was a very muddy construction site just a few months ago has been completely transformed into a lush, nature-filled outdoor environment ready for tamariki to enjoy.

The brief: a complete rethink of the space. We will be creating a generous entertaining patio, lush privacy planting and a garden that still accommodates the family’s large temporary pool each Summer.

This backyard transformation is kicking off in just a few weeks! We can’t wait to see this one come to life 🫶

The finishing touches are underway at the Matakana Newshoots Daycare 🧡

We've carefully selected and placed nearly 500 plants and today the crew is busy getting this predominately native planting palette in the ground.

Safe to say the new bike track has already been thoroughly tested by some minis, and even approved by the big boss! We can't wait to share the completed project with you very soon.

Things are taking shape at our Matakana daycare! Our resident play tester has approved the tunnels 🤪

The water play troughs are now in place at the top of the river swale, ready for plugs, waterfalls and trap doors that will let little ones explore and experiment. Once today’s concrete is in, they’ll be finished with mosaic detailing 👏
