Hydraulic flushing results. Essentially we use a Hydac FCU (laser particle counter) as a monitor to establish a starting datum when flushing, and reference the drop in particulate contamination. Once completed, a fluid sample is sent to sn approved lab for verification

Typical contamination found in the filter element bowl after flushing new tube work. When hydraulic system components have clearances often measured in microns, any and all contaminants are problematic. Even on new OEM supplied systems, we always recommend starting off with flushing and cleaning pre commissioning
