Emmy N Auto:
In our today's post let's explore the different systems of a vehicle and those parts that makes up each system
Suspension System
The suspension system connects the vehicle's wheels to its frame, allowing for smooth movement and stability. It consists of:
1. *Springs*: Absorb bumps and irregularities
2. *Shock absorbers*: Control oscillations and maintain stability
3. *Struts*: Combine springs and shock absorbers
Other Vehicle Systems
1. *Steering System*: Enables directional control
- Power steering pump
- Steering gear box
- Steering column
2. *Braking System*: Slows or stops the vehicle
- Disc brakes
- Drum brakes
- Brake pads
- Brake fluid
3. *Transmission System*: Transmits power from the engine to the wheels
- Manual transmission
- Automatic transmission
- Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)
4. *Engine System*: Generates power for the vehicle
- Internal combustion engine (ICE)
- Electric motor (in electric vehicles)
5. *Electrical System*: Powers various vehicle components
- Battery
- Alternator
- Starter motor
6. *Cooling System*: Regulates engine temperature
- Radiator
- Coolant
- Water pump
7. *Exhaust System*: Directs exhaust gases away from the vehicle
- Exhaust manifold
- Catalytic converter
- Muffler
Additional Systems
1. *Fuel System*: Delivers fuel to the engine
2. *Air Intake System*: Provides air to the engine
3. *Safety Systems*: Includes features like airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), and electronic stability control (ESC)
Each system plays a crucial role in the vehicle's overall performance, safety, and efficiency
In our next post we would be writing about each system in details
Thanks for your attentions
