In October 1996, Yenagoa didn’t look like a state capital.
There were three petrol stations, a few dirt roads, and local government offices doubling as a makeshift Government House. But what Bayelsa lacked in infrastructure back then, its people made up for in quiet, unyielding determination. The Ijaw people had always known the value of their land and waters.
Thirty years later, that story looks very different.
From a single stretch of road to a 60-megawatt gas turbine plant and expanding highway networks, Bayelsa has grown into the heartbeat of Nigeria’s energy future.
For all of us at Bluefinn Global Resources Limited, this milestone hits close to home. Our President, Sir Ebimene Lonmax Endouware, is a son of the soil. Building our proposed Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Motherstation in Polaku isn't just another project on a map for us, it’s a direct investment in the land that nurtured him.
