WEEKLY SEWING MACHINE CARE ROUTINE
*Clean out dust and thread.Open the bobbin area and remove lint with a small brush.Don’t use a blower or your mouth—it pushes dust deeper
*Replace the needle if you sew often.A fresh needle prevents skipped stitches and fabric damage.
*Check Thread Tension to avoid cutting or packing threads under the fabric,test stitches on a piece of cloth to ascertain the finesse
*Use only sewing machine oil,Apply one or two drops to the hook and moving joints as instructed
*Remove all thread and re-thread from start to finish;top thread and bobbin.Many stitch problems come from wrong threading.
*Ensure the bobbin is wound evenly.Make sure the bobbin case is correctly inserted and not scratched.
*Check the needle clamp, presser foot screw, and plate screws and tighten if any feel loose.
*Use a soft dry cloth to remove dust on the exterior parts
*Run a few straight and zigzag test stitches,Listen for unusual noise and adjust where necessary
*Make sure you Keep it in a dry place and Cover with a dust cover or cloth when not in use.
