☀️ YOUR SOLAR PANELS CAN BE WORKING… AND STILL NOT GIVING YOU THEIR BEST OUTPUT!

One of the most overlooked problems in solar installation is panel shading.

After years around solar systems, one lesson is clear: even a small amount of shade can affect the performance of a panel and, depending on the system design, the output of the entire string.

Here are practical ways to prevent it:

🌳 1. Watch out for trees
Trees grow. That branch that isn't blocking your panel today may become a serious problem next year. Consider future growth when choosing your installation position.

🏠 2. Check nearby structures
Water tanks, parapet walls, buildings, poles, antennas and other rooftop structures can cast shadows on your panels, especially during certain hours.

🧭 3. Study the sun's path before installation
Don't simply install where there is empty roof space. A professional installer should assess how sunlight reaches the roof throughout the day and across different seasons.

📐 4. Give panels the right spacing
When panels are mounted in rows, poor spacing can cause one row to shade another, particularly when the sun is low.
