In my recent presentation on Channels Television few days ago, I suggested to the Federal government of Nigeria and our brave Military the 4D's Strategic Framework as a comprehensive approach to combating organized crime, insurgency, and terrorism:

The 4Ds Strategy: **Delink, Deresource, Demoralize, and Demobilize**

1. **Delink Strategy**

● **Objectives**: Reduce coordination among adversaries, create disunity, and disrupt logistical or financial networks.
● **Approach**: Sever connections or dependencies, isolate entities, and dismantle alliances using psychological and operational tactics.
● **Impacts on Adversaries**: Weakens structures, hinders operations, and fosters mistrust.

2. **Deresource Strategy**

● **Objectives**: Cripple operational capabilities, force resource scarcity, and limit recruitment or sustainability.
● **Approach**: Restrict access to essential resources via blockades, or intelligence interception.
● **Impacts on Adversaries**: Leads to stagnation, reduced morale, and possible desperation tactics.

3. **Demoralize Strategy**

● **Objectives**: Lower morale, induce fear or doubt, and encourage defections or internal conflict.
● **Approach**: Use psychological operations (PSYOPS), misinformation, or propaganda to erode confidence and unity.
● **Impacts on Adversaries**: Reduces efficiency, disbands operations, and creates negotiation opportunities.

4. **Demobilize Strategy**

● **Objectives**: Prevent regrouping, dismantle frameworks, and ensure long-term stability.
● **Approach**: Disband structures, disrupt recruitment, and enforce inactivity through legal or military means.
● **Impacts on Adversaries**: Reduces threats, prevents resurgence, but may create power vacuums if mismanaged.

In conclusion, the **Delink, Deresource, Demoralize, and Demobilize** strategies work cohesively to weaken adversaries by disrupting their networks, resources, morale, and operational structures. When applied systematically, they ensure long-term containment, operational stagnation, and stability while minimizing direct confrontation.

The ABULE ADO GAS EXPLOSION

On PlusTv Africa, a while ago, I discussed the classes of disaster and Regretably Nigeria is so blessed by not suffering much of natural disaster but we working so hard to inflicts on ourselves Human induced disaster.

"NIGERIA" A great nation, so Blessed Without much of Natural disaster, but some Criminal elements are working so hard on achieving Manmade disaster or human induced disaster resulting to loss of lives everyday. "REGRETTABLE"

We have three classes of Disaster

1. Natural Disaster- Hurricane, Tsunami, Earthquake, Flood, Wild fire, Landslide

2. Manmade Disaster-Active shooter, Terrorism, Explosives, Power outages, fire outbreak, etc. and

3. Inadvertent Disaster-Accidents same slightly as man-made disaster.

We are still awaiting the report of the Abule Explosions in Lagos few months ago and this must not be swept under the carpet as it is our ways sometimes here in Nigeria precisely.

The reason why crime flourishes here in our country is due to lack of effective punishments, and case continuity till end results.

By definition ”disaster” means a catastrophe, a mishap, a calamity or grave danger or event that occurred in an area that affected life and properties.

It may be arising from natural or man- made causes, or by accident or due to negligence.

This sudden event results in the substantial loss of life and properties or create much suffering to humans and animals.

To curtail with this terrible situations we must be Preactive (Predicting the future) and Proactive (Creating the future)

Thanks to His excellency President Muhammadu Buhari for his initiatives on the migrant E registration and other ICT equipments given to our immigration services.

Our boarders will receive a new breath and the activities of criminal elements would be mitigated.
