Public Announcement
It has recently come to our attention the various defamatory sponsored posts on social media platform Facebook by our former components supplier DONGGUAN CITY IHUA INDUSTRIES CO. LTD. It’s sad that IHUA has thread this slippery route to tarnish our image. This show IHUA as an unreasonable company under the leadership of Bryan Yu. After an unsuccessfull efforts to maintain any action in the court of law, Mr. Brian resorted to cheap blackmail to tarnish our decades-long reputation.
We would like to state unequivocally that we have already commenced legal action and step against Mr Bryan and IHUA for the defamation against our good company and while that’s going on we will like to address the issue and put the public in the know of what transpired.
We used to procure some of our energy meters components from Dongguan City Ihua Industries Co. Ltd in China under the contracts were tagged Project 40 and Project 70 respectively.
However, we discovered that some of the components supplied by IHUA were of inferior quality against the terms of the agreement between the parties which affected some batches of our products, although we had since withdrew all the affected products from the field for rework which has cost us additional resources to correct. Equally, this dented our prestigious image of over three decades before some of our customers and almost ran us aground because of huge bank debts.
All our efforts to get IHUA to redeem itself by rectify the defects have not yielded any positive result rather IHUA has been busy forum shopping on law firms (both in Nigeria and in South Africa) instructing them to file actions in Nigeria courts against us which all have proved unsuccessful.
It is clear that Mr Bryan of Ihua Industries has no legal basis to maintain action against us after unsuccessful forum shopping for law firms throughout Africa, they have now taken recourse to online blackmailing and using social Media platforms to defame us.
It is an established fact that Dongguan City Ihua Industries Co. Ltd and Mr Bryan are fraudulent and insincere. To this end, we have instructed our legal representatives to write a formal complaint to the Chinese embassy for the illegal conduct of the country company and also to take appropriate diplomatic action against the duo
We implore the public to ignore their posts, thank you
