4. Data Interpretation: Once the laboratory analysis is complete, interpret the results based on established soil fertility guidelines or recommendations tailored to the specific crops or plants of interest. Identify areas with nutrient deficiencies or imbalances that may require soil amendments or corrective measures.
5. Report Generation: Prepare a comprehensive report summarizing the survey findings, including soil nutrient levels, pH values, organic matter content, and any other relevant soil properties. Include recommendations for soil management practices, such as fertilizer application rates, liming, or organic matter additions, to improve soil fertility and optimize plant growth in different areas of the survey site.
Soil fertility surveys are valuable tools for farmers, agronomists, and land managers to understand the fertility status of their soils, make informed decisions about soil management practices, and maximize crop productivity while minimizing environmental impacts.
