Araba Femi Sanni Mobile Clinic Saving Lives of Vulnerable Kwarans
Engr. Femi Sanni, fondly known as ARABA, has continued to make meaningful impact across Kwara State through various people oriented interventions ranging from sports development to empowerment programmes for artisans, market women, youths, and healthcare support initiatives.
The respected businessman, philanthropist, and owner of Stefolga Group and Flow FM 92.7, few years ago launched the ARABA Mobile Clinic to provide accessible, quality, and free healthcare services to vulnerable citizens at their doorsteps. The initiative, powered through the corporate social responsibility efforts of his companies, was designed to bridge the healthcare gap for underserved communities across Kwara State.
The Mobile Clinic initiative complements the efforts of the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in strengthening healthcare delivery in the state. According to Engr. Femi Sanni, health remains one of the most important pillars of human development because only healthy citizens can contribute meaningfully to societal growth and economic productivity.
Despite ongoing government interventions in the health sector, many vulnerable residents still struggle to access quality medical care due to financial limitations. While some cannot afford transportation to healthcare facilities, others are unable to pay hospital bills and purchase medications. This reality has made the ARABA Mobile Clinic a timely and impactful intervention for the people.
The fully equipped Mobile Clinic, staffed with qualified medical personnel and stocked with essential drugs, moves from one community to another across Ilorin and other parts of the state, delivering free healthcare services directly to the people. Beneficiaries receive medical consultations, routine health checks, medications, and health awareness support without paying any fees.
Records from the medical outreach team indicate that hundreds of Kwarans including elderly citizens, women, children, artisans, and low income earners have benefited from the initiative. In some cases, consultants and healthcare professionals attached to the outreach have successfully carried out minor surgical procedures within the mobile clinic.
Beyond the mobile healthcare service, ARABA and his team consistently organise free medical outreaches in different communities where residents are tested for common health conditions and provided with free medications and professional medical advice.
For many widows, elderly citizens, and struggling families, the ARABA Mobile Clinic has become more than just a healthcare programme it has become a lifeline and a symbol of compassion, accessibility, and people centred leadership. The initiative continues to reach underserved communities where access to healthcare remains a major challenge.
Although Engr. Femi Sanni currently does not occupy any public office, he has remained consistent in supporting government efforts and contributing to the welfare of the people. His interventions across various sectors have continued to strengthen his reputation as a grassroots oriented leader committed to making Kwara State better for all.
Indeed, many supporters describe him as “ARABA TIWA NI” because of his dedication to listening to the people and responding to their needs through practical interventions that directly improve lives. As political activities gradually build toward the 2027 governorship race, many Kwarans believe his record of service and humanitarian efforts distinguish him as a leader with a genuine passion for the wellbeing of the people.
