​First is the Flashforge Adventurer 5M. This open-frame printer is our go-to machine for rapid, reliable drafting. Its CoreXY structure delivers incredible speed without losing fine detail. Empowering the next generation of problem solvers!

​We are incredibly proud to share that we recently welcomed Conrad Academy into the Light Up a Dream initiative. In partnership with Flashforge, we donated a Flashforge Adventurer 5M 3D printer and fully equip their classroom for the future.

​To make sure they could start creating immediately, we provided two selected spools of Flashforge 3D printing filament to support their initial training, demonstrations, and early classroom use. Our team also spent time conducting hands-on Tinkercad training with the students, and their enthusiasm for 3D design was absolutely contagious!

Bridging the gap between the classroom and the real world!

Recently, our team at Generative CAD Services Limited had the absolute pleasure of hosting a brilliant group of 1st to 4th-year engineering and mechatronics students from the SST Makerspace for Workshop 1 of their 'Maker to Market Initiative'.

Our primary goal? To give these future innovators a front-row seat to how mechanical design is approached in a real-world engineering environment.
We didn't just talk theory; we dove deep into the practical journey of bringing an idea to life.
Throughout the session, we explored:
● The Rudiments of Design Thinking: Emphasizing Human-Centered Design and the "Embrace" mind-set to solve real problems with empathy.
● Product Specifications & Requirements: Learning how to define the parameters that make a product successful.
● Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM): Mastering the specific rules of 3D printing, from navigating tight tolerances and structural orientation to optimizing infill density.

To bring it all home, we walked the students through the full pathway of one of our in-house designs. We mapped out the entire thought process, from initial concept and product requirements to live 3D modeling and advanced slicing techniques.

Seeing the "Aha!" moments when these students connected academic concepts to physical, engineered products was incredibly rewarding. Thank you to the SST Makerspace for trusting us to mentor these young minds.

The future of hardware innovation is in great hands. Onward to the build phase!
