SEARAH Commences Operations in Kerteh, Kemaman, Terengganu
SEARAH commenced operations in Kerteh, Kemaman, Terengganu as an independent upstream energy company established through a 50:50 strategic joint venture between PETRONAS and Eni, a global energy company headquartered in Italy. The company combines selected exploration and production (E&P) assets from both partners across Malaysia and Indonesia, creating a stronger and more competitive upstream entity dedicated to enhancing regional energy security.
SEARAH currently manages a portfolio of 19 oil and gas production and development assets across the Asia Pacific region. By leveraging the technical expertise, operational experience, and resources of both shareholders, the company aims to optimise asset performance, improve operational efficiency, and maximise long-term value from its upstream operations.
