We bid farewell to Ng Yao Jeen on the 28 Aug and Wei Yit LEE, a week later, when they completed their internships with us to resume their final year of Mechanical Engineering study at the University of Nottingham Malaysia and University College London, respectively.

I hope they find the vibration measurement and engineering analysis work experience we provided relevant and helpful for their study and future careers.

After months of meticulous planning and groundwork by our Managing Director Ir. Dr. KC (Kok-Cheong) Tang, we are thrilled to share that MyCAE India Pvt Ltd is officially soft launched! MyCAE India Office is situated at Pune, Maharashtra. This marks an exciting new chapter in our journey to deliver high-end engineering solutions across Asia.

Spearheaded by Dr. Kiran Bhagate as the Managing Director of MyCAE India and Ir. Dr. KC (Kok-Cheong) Tang as the other Director, our new India team will focus on niche, mission-critical engineering services, including:

1. Long-Term Vibration Monitoring

Types of sensors and their capabilities that we use:

b) PCB (1,000mV/g) and Wilcoxon (10,000mV/g)
c) Dytran Triaxial sensor (100mV/g) high sensitivity/seismic accelerometers.
Wilcoxon and Monitran sensors are commonly used for micro-vibrational measurement due to their high precision, durability, and reliability in detecting low-level vibrations.
2. 12-pound Dytran impulse sledgehammer for dynamic assessment of facility and marine structures.
3. National Instrument signal acquisition modules NI-9234, chassis CDAQ-9171 and CDAQ-9185.
4. National Instrument software, LabView, as data logging interface and National Instrument Sound and Vibration Toolkit as a customized post-processor of vibration data.

It is our honour and pleasure to host the visit of Chon-Kiat (CK) Lee, the Mechanical Engineering Lead of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Satellite Research tomorrow (17 Dec 2024) to our new UDINI office. In conjunction with his visit, we have invited him to share his experience on mechanical simulations which he utilizes to bring satellites into orbit.

Please kindly note that we will be moving to our new and bigger office at UDINI Square after 10 years of operating from our current office at Karpal Singh Drive 2. To facilitate the relocation, we will be shutting down our engineering services from 5pm, 20 May 2024, and resuming at our new premises at 9am, 23 May 2024.

It is always exciting to play and learn. As we have been entrusted by our clients with performing multiple studies to look into air flow and cooling solutions for data centres and rack enclosures, acquiring and then opening a few 1U and 2U servers are great ways to bring CFD simulation closer to reality.
