Met so many IACT College students, got to showcase some cool stuff from Blackmagic Design and Synco, and invited Danny Gan to spread more DaVinci Resolve love. The lucky draw got everyone staying till the end.

Did you know Malaysia also has a certified DaVinci Resolve Training Centre within an academic institution?

Our Zevo team recently made their way to KKTM Rembau in Negeri Sembilan, for a visit with Ts Muhammad Hanafi from the Film Department. It was a good chance to see how the institution is growing with the brand and talk about what’s next (over a lot of gear talk, of course).

KKTM Rembau has put together an impressive setup, with the Micro Colour Panel, DaVinci Resolve Studio and Fairlight panels forming the backbone of their film production workflow. Films have been shot and graded in-house using Blackmagic Design products.

The institution also has two Apple Vision Pros and is watching closely as immersive filmmaking continues to develop.

While on site, we also carried out a quick system checkup and helped sort out some technical issues with the grouping control on their Fairlight panels.

They are also on track to develop certified Fairlight trainers within their team.

A collaboration is also in the pipeline for KKTM Rembau’s Film Festival happening on 17 and 18 October. Can’t wait!
