Durante mi intercambio viví muchísimos momentos increíbles, pero sin duda el más épico fue el Bus Trip 🚌💫 que hicimos recorriendo distintos países de Europa junto a más de 40 estudiantes de intercambio. Fue una experiencia única: conocer nuevas culturas, compartir risas y crear recuerdos que jamás voy a olvidar.
Adaptarme con mi primera familia anfitriona fue uno de los retos más grandes. Hoy los quiero muchísimo y seguimos en contacto, pero al principio tuve un pequeño shock cultural, ya que su forma de vida era muy diferente a la mía y a la de mis otras host families o amigos inbounds. Además, yo era la primera estudiante que recibían, así que estaban algo nerviosos por la responsabilidad y mi seguridad.
Con el tiempo, todo fluyó: yo me adapté a ellos y ellos a mí 💛. Al final, se convirtieron en una parte muy importante de mi intercambio.
Si tuviera que describir esta experiencia en una sola palabra, sería inolvidable ✨

During my exchange, I lived so many amazing moments, but without a doubt, the most epic one was the Bus Trip 🚌💫 traveling through different countries in Europe with more than 40 exchange students. It was such a unique experience: discovering new cultures, sharing endless laughs, and creating memories I’ll never forget.
Adapting to my first host family was one of the biggest challenges. I love them so much now and we still keep in touch, but at the beginning, I definitely went through a bit of culture shock. Their lifestyle was very different from mine and from my other host families or inbound friends. Plus, I was the first exchange student they had ever hosted, so they were a little nervous about the responsibility and my safety.
Over time, everything started to flow naturally: I adapted to them, and they to me 💛. In the end, they became a very special part of my exchange experience.
If I had to describe this year in just one word, it would be unforgettable ✨
