1) Naan
Ingredients
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• ½ cup warm water
• ¼ cup yogurt
• 2 tsp yeast
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Let sit 5 minutes.
2. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
3. Add yeast mixture and yogurt. Knead until soft.
4. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
5. Divide into balls and roll flat.
6. Cook on hot skillet 1–2 minutes per side.
7. Brush with melted butter before serving.
2) Pita Bread
Ingredients
• 2 cups flour
• ¾ cup warm water
• 2 tsp yeast
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Rest 5 minutes.
2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil.
3. Knead 8 minutes until smooth.
4. Let rise 1 hour.
5. Roll into circles.
6. Bake at 475°F (245°C) for 5–7 minutes until puffed.
3) Tortillas (Flour)
Ingredients
• 2 cups flour
• ½ cup warm water
• ¼ cup vegetable oil
• ½ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp baking powder
Instructions
1. Mix flour, salt, and baking powder.
2. Add oil and water. Mix into soft dough.
3. Rest 20 minutes.
4. Divide and roll thin.
5. Cook in hot pan 1 minute per side.
4) Roti
Ingredients
• 2 cups whole wheat flour
• ¾ cup warm water
• 2 tbsp oil or ghee
• ½ tsp salt
Instructions
1. Mix flour and salt.
2. Add water gradually and knead smooth.
3. Rest 20 minutes.
4. Roll into thin circles.
5. Cook on hot skillet until puffed and lightly browned.
5) Focaccia
Ingredients
• 3 cups flour
• 1 cup warm water
• 2 tsp yeast
• ¼ cup olive oil
• ½ tsp salt
• Fresh herbs
Instructions
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix well.
3. Let rise 1–2 hours.
4. Press into oiled pan.
5. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle herbs.
6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes.
6) Lavash

• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp dry yeast
Instructions
1. Mix yeast with water.
2. Add flour, oil, and salt. Knead until smooth.
3. Let rise 45 minutes.
4. Roll very thin.
5. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 5–7 minutes or cook on skillet.
7) Simple Flatbread (No Yeast)
Ingredients
• 2 cups flour
• ⅔ cup warm water
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Add water and oil; knead until soft.
3. Rest 15 minutes.
4. Roll thin and cook in hot pan until golden spots appear.
😎 Farinata (Chickpea Flatbread)
Ingredients
• 1 cup chickpea flour
• 1½ cups water
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp salt
• Black pepper
Instructions
1. Whisk chickpea flour with water until smooth.
2. Add olive oil, salt, and pepper.
3. Let rest 30 minutes.
4. Pour into oiled pan.
5. Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 20–25 minutes.
9) Paratha
Ingredients
• 2 cups whole wheat flour
• ¾ cup warm water
• 2 tbsp ghee or oil
• ½ tsp salt
Instructions
1. Mix flour and salt.
2. Add water and knead smooth. Rest 20 minutes.
3. Roll out, brush with ghee, fold, and roll again.
4. Cook on skillet, brushing with ghee until golden and crispy.
