THERMO-INS provides up to 2700 C° fire resistance and is classified as Class A / Class 1 fire resistance material.

Product retains its integrity and does not delaminate from the surfaces it is applied on, only fine hairline cracks appear on the surface of the material after two hours above the given degrees, depending on the product used.

The ecological property of the material does not permit more than ± 2.7 % smoke release, which is non-toxic. Considering most lives lost during fires due to excessive smoke released, the specific quality of Thermo-Ins becomes vitally beneficial whilst designing living spaces.

Thermo-Ins is applicable on most materials used in buildings, therefore able to seal the structure and provide fire protection to the entire building.

Thermo-Ins remain permeable to water vapour (gas) despite blocking water ingress, and this is what allows any trapped moisture on your walls, like condensation, to escape - essentially making your basement or cellar breathable. This is what makes a tanking system both waterproof and dampproof.

Enviro Coatings Ltd. was appointed to insulate and waterproof the roof of a Villa in Rabat (Malta). We started with the stand-alone bedroom suite.

We used THERMO-INS P. The material was laid to fall 1:100 to the outlet. Thus, our material replaced the screed and the insulation all in one coat and one application.
