⚡ Electrical distribution, protection and lighting control
Here’s a look at how these four electrical panels work together:
🔹 Incoming supply panel Includes voltage protection, surge protection and a main contactor for switching the supply. Separate monitors display the voltage and current on each of the three phases.
🔹 Essential supply panel Includes a generator changeover switch, allowing essential circuits to be powered by the generator when required.
🔹 Main distribution panel Rated at 250 A, this panel distributes power to the individual circuits, with MCBs and RCBOs providing overload, short-circuit and earth-leakage protection.
🔹 Lighting control panel Uses modular contactors—electrically operated switches—to control the different lighting circuits.
