Today marks a major milestone in LEONI Morocco’s growth journey.

We were honored to host the groundbreaking ceremony of our new production facility in Bouskoura, alongside Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohamed Mhidia, Wali of the Casablanca-Settat Region, Jalal Benhayoun, Governor of Nouaceur Province, Andreas Krifka, CFO of LEONI Group, Anis Kammoun, COO of LEONI Wiring Systems, Hicham Hannioui, Managing Director & Country Manager of LEONI Morocco, as well as our valued partners, customers, and institutional stakeholders.

This new investment of MAD 640 million reflects LEONI’s strong confidence in Morocco and its long-term commitment to the Kingdom. The future facility, covering nearly 35,000 m², will create close to 4,000 direct and indirect jobs and will become LEONI’s 12th production site in Morocco.

Beyond expanding our industrial footprint, this project represents our ambition to help shape the future of automotive manufacturing. The site will incorporate state-of-the-art production technologies, advanced digital solutions, a dedicated Training Center, and an Innovation & R&D Center focused on next-generation automotive wiring systems.

For more than 55 years, Morocco has been a strategic pillar in LEONI’s global success story. Today, nearly 20,000 talented employees contribute every day to delivering excellence to our customers worldwide. This new chapter further reinforces Morocco’s position as a key industrial, technological, and export hub within LEONI’s global network.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Moroccan authorities, our customers, our partners, and above all our employees, whose dedication, expertise, and commitment continue to drive our success.

As we lay the foundations of this new facility, we are also laying the foundations for future growth, innovation, talent development, and sustainable industrial excellence.
