We invite you to join our journey to the future with more sustainable paint and coating products! The mission of Paints for Life is to accelerate the time-to-market for sustainable paint and coatings products by distributing ready-made and tested formulations. Building consumer trust involves sustainable supply chain management. Therefore our approach involves transparent chemistry, where all raw
materials used in paint products are known, and industry can make ready-made product assessments. From this standpoint the project aims to liberalize the status quo in the industry, where access to advanced materials chemistry is a privilege for a limited number of industry players. Knowledge sharing, co-creation and material traceability are importants enablers in accelerating the process, which results in sustainable products delivered to the end users. The primary focus of this project is on supporting the paint manufacturers who are interested in the development of human health friendly and environmentally friendly paint and coating products but they lack the necessary tools and resources. Paints for Life portal development has been funded by LIFE project no. LIFE17 ENV/LV/000318, implemented by ALINA company, Riga Technical University and University of Latvia.
