Akin Brooks Engineering

Akin Brooks was proud to attend the topping out celebration for the new P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School gymnasium yesterday!

The new state-of-the-art athletic and wellness facility will replace the school’s existing gymnasium, which dates back to 1957. The new facility will provide more than 30,000 square feet of space designed to support athletics, physical education, health and human performance education, and student wellness.

We are extremely proud to contribute to this project through mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing engineering design, helping create the building systems that will support this important facility for students, educators, athletes, and the Gainesville community for years to come.
