අභ්යවකාශයේ ඔබේම මෙහෙයුමක් ආරම්භ කිරීමට සූදානම්ද ?? – එසේනම් දැනුවත් වෙන්න - AX-2 Mission පිලිබදව
දශක ගණනාවක් අභ්යවකාශ පියාසර කිරීමේ විශේෂඥතාව සපුරාලන මොහොතක, Axiom Space මානව ප්රගමනයේ මීළඟ අදියර LEO (Low Earth Orbit) තුළ හැසිරවීමට අපේක්ශා කරයි.
Axiom Mission-2 (AX-2) යනු ජාත්යන්තර අභ්යවකාශ මධ්යස්ථානය වෙත (ISS) පුද්ගලික කාර්ය මණ්ඩල මෙහෙයුමක් වන අතර, එය Axiom Space නමැති ආයතනය විසින් මෙහෙයවනු ලැබේ. AX-2 රොකට්ටුව 2023 මැයි 21 වන දින SpaceX Falcon 9 රොකට්ටුවක් භාවිතා කරමින් දියත් කරන ලදී. සැබැවින්ම, AX-2 යනු 2022 අප්රේල් මාසයේදී Axiom Mission 1 ට පසු දෙවන Axiom මෙහෙයුමයි.
Axiom Space ආයතනය,මෙම මෙහෙයුමෙන් බලාපොරොත්තු වන්නේ, ලොව ප්රථම වාණිජ අභ්යවකාශ මධ්යස්ථානය වන *Axiom Station* ගොඩනැගීමට සහ ක්රියාත්මක කිරීමට අවශ්ය මූලික පසුබිම ස්ථාපිත කිරීමයි.
AX-2 හි කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය
Axiom Space හි Human Spaceflight හි අධ්යක්ෂ Peggy Whitson, හිටපු NASA ගගනගාමියෙකු සහ හිටපු ISS අණදෙන නිලධාරියෙක් වන අතර මෙම මෙහෙයුමට නායකත්වය දෙයි. John Shoffner AX-2 මෙහෙයුම තුල ප්රධාන රොකට් නියමුවා(Pilot) ලෙස සේවය කරයි. මෙහෙයුම් විශේෂඥයන්(Mission Specialists) ලෙස සෞදි අරාබියේ Ali Alqarni සහ Rayyanah Barnawi AX-2 මෙහෙයුමට දායකත්වය දක්වයි.

Axiom Mission 2 (AX-2) is a private crew mission to the International Space Station (ISS), operated by *Axiom Space*. AX-2 rocket was launched on 21 May 2023 on a SpaceX Falcon 9. AX-2 is the second Axiom mission after Axiom Mission 1 in April 2022.
The four-person Axiom Space crew flew to space in “SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft” atop its Falcon 9 rocket to participate in the mission. Their efforts will continue to lay the groundwork and establish the key capabilities needed to build out and operate *Axiom Station - the world's first commercial space station.*
The Crew
Axiom Space’s Director of Human Spaceflight Peggy Whitson, a former NASA astronaut and ISS commander, leads the mission. Aviator John Shoffner of Knoxville, Tennessee, serves as the pilot. The two mission specialists are Ali Alqarni and Rayyanah Barnawi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
