මේක ලියන්න හිතුවේ ඉල්ලීමකට පිලිතුරක් විදිහට , මේක පිලිබදව දීර්ඝ වශයෙන් ලිවීමට මා අදහස් කරගෙන සිටින අතර මේ ලිපිය එහි ආරම්භක ලිපියයි ........ තවද මෙහිදී අප කතා කරනුයේ මූලික කාරණා කිහිපයක් වන අතර ඉදිරියේදි එකින් එක ඒවා පිළිබදව වෙන වෙනම විමසා බලමු .

1. නැනෝ වෛද්‍ය විද්‍යාව: සුවකිරීමේ අනාගතය (Nanomedicine: The Future of Healing)

නිරෝගී සෛල වලට හානි නොකර, සෘජුවම රෝගී සෛල (උදා: පිළිකා සෛල) වෙත පමණක් ඖෂධ ප්‍රවාහනය කිරීමට නැනෝ අංශු භාවිතා කිරීම අද වෛද්‍ය විද්‍යාවේ දැවැන්ත පෙරළියක් සිදු කර ඇත. එමෙන්ම, රෝග කල්තියා හඳුනාගන්නා අතිශය සංවේදී නැනෝ-සංවේදක (Nanosensors) හරහා මිනිස් ජීවිත රාශියක් බේරාගැනීමට දැන් හැකියාව ලැබී තිබේ.

The use of nanoparticles to deliver drugs directly to diseased cells (like cancer cells) without harming healthy ones is a massive breakthrough in medicine today. Furthermore, highly sensitive nanosensors that detect diseases at early stages are now saving countless human lives.

2. ඉලෙක්ට්‍රොනික විද්‍යාව සහ පරිගණක (Electronics and Computing)

අප භාවිතා කරන ස්මාර්ට් උපාංග දිනෙන් දින කුඩා වන අතරම ඒවායේ වේගය වැඩි වන්නේ කෙසේද? ඒ නැනෝ-ඉලෙක්ට්‍රොනික විද්‍යාව නිසාවෙනි. පරිගණක චිප අතිශය කුඩා නැනෝ මට්ටමට නිර්මාණය කිරීම සහ QLED තිර සඳහා ක්වොන්ටම් තිත් (Quantum Dots) භාවිතා කිරීම මීට කදිම උදාහරණ වේ.

How do our smart devices keep getting smaller while becoming faster? The answer is nanoelectronics. The miniaturization of computer chips to the nanoscale and the use of Quantum Dots in high-definition QLED screens are perfect examples of this.

3. බලශක්තියේ නව මානයන් (New Dimensions in Energy)

සූර්ය කෝෂ වල කාර්යක්ෂමතාව ඉහළ නැංවීමට මෙන්ම, විද්‍යුත් වාහන (EVs) සඳහා වේගයෙන් ආරෝපණය වන සහ වැඩි කාලයක් බලය රඳවා ගන්නා බැටරි නිපදවීම සඳහා නැනෝ ද්‍රව්‍ය බහුලව භාවිතා වේ. මෙය හරිත බලශක්ති අනාගතයකට මනා පිටිවහලකි.

බැක්ටීරියා, වෛරස සහ බැර ලෝහ ඉවත් කරමින් අපිරිසිදු ජලය පිරිසිදු කරන අතිශය සියුම් නැනෝ පෙරහන් (Nanofilters) හරහා ලෝකයේ පානීය ජල ගැටලුවට සාර්ථක විසඳුම් සෙවීමට විද්‍යාඥයින් සමත්වී ඇත. තවද, පරිසරයට මුදාහැරෙන විෂ වායු උරාගැනීමටද නැනෝ ද්‍රව්‍ය යොදාගනී.

Scientists have successfully found solutions to the global drinking water crisis through ultra-fine nanofilters that remove bacteria, viruses, and heavy metals. Additionally, nanomaterials are deployed to absorb toxic gases released into the environment.
