HME Square has concluded its 4-day exhibition at ATTD 2026 in Barcelona (March 11–14).

Throughout the event, we presented Glucosound, our portable non-invasive blood glucose monitoring device. We appreciated the opportunity to engage with industry professionals and researchers to discuss the development and clinical potential of our solution.

We would like to thank all the visitors who stopped by our booth. The technical feedback and interest from the global community remain a key driver for our progress.

HME Square will be participating in ADA 2026 and provide further updates on our upcoming exhibition schedule and project milestones as they are confirmed.

HME Square’s non-invasive glucose monitoring device, GlucoSOUND, has been officially designated as an Innovative Medical Device (No. 116) under the Advanced Technology Category by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of Korea.

This designation recognizes GlucoSOUND’s technological innovation — the first in Korea to combine photoacoustic (PA) technology with AI-based signal analysis algorithms to measure blood glucose levels without needles or finger-pricking.

The Innovative Medical Device designation is granted by the MFDS to products that demonstrate proven technological excellence and clinical necessity. Designated devices are eligible for various regulatory benefits, including clinical trial design support, expedited review processes, and priority evaluation.

The episode of Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid titled "Understanding Diabetes - A Journey Through Care & Compassion," which features HME Square's innovative technology, will air in February on Fox Business Network and other U.S. public and regional stations.

This episode will highlight the struggles faced by millions of people across the U.S. in managing diabetes and will explore how GlucoSOUND, HME Square's portable non-invasive glucose monitor, can help them.

Additionally, HME Square's CEO, Yoonho Kang, and Dr. Seunghwan Lee, an endocrinologist at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, will be featured in the episode, discussing the importance of regular glucose monitoring and the effectiveness of GlucoSOUND in managing diabetes.
