Duma Crusher Ltd, is a new company that operates Eastern Kenya’s largest fixed mine in Jaribuni just 20 kms from Kilifi producing up to 4,200 tons a day of premium quality crushed stone.
Duma excavates only the highest quality basalt. We employ industry-leading mining techniques and top of the line machinery, which enables us to produce crushed stone that is evenly shaped and consistent in size (“polyhedric aggregate”). The advantage of using polyhedric aggregate over locally processed crushed stone is that polyhedric aggregate requires up to 20% less cement and makes the end product far more reliable and sturdy. Furthermore, you will no longer have to add yellow river sand to your concrete mix as Duma is able to provide polyhedric aggregate of very small size (0-6mm). As such, Duma’s polyhedric aggregate will enable you to build stronger structures in a more cost-efficient way.

Duma Premix combines the virtues of Duma Polyhedric Aggregate (evenly shaped, round stones - half inch, three quarter inch, one inch - that lead to more stable end products and require 20% less cement) and Duma Quarry Sand Aggregate (small stones of exceptional purity lead to optimal structural density and eliminate the need for yellow river sand). It is important to point out at the outset that Duma Quarry Sand Aggregate is not actually sand, but very small and fine crushed stone (0-6mm) of exceptional purity (90% purity, as compared to an average purity of 64% for other crushed stones and high percentage of soil in yellow river sand). The purity of the material is relevant because the more soil (i.e. impurities) the small crushed stones / yellow river sand contain, the less solid the end product (impurities weaken the cohesiveness of the cement which is mixed with the stones / sand to produce concrete).

Duma does not supply transport of materials from the quarry; however we would be happy to organize from a reputable transport company if you do not have your own transportation.
WEIGH BRIDGE
All materials sold are weighed on the weighbridge at Duma quarry where a print out of weight is given to the customer with the delivery note attached.
ORDERS
Considering there is a very high demand for this material we would appreciate some indication of quantity that you require in advance so that Duma can make sure that there is always enough material available for you.
PAYMENTS
Our payment policy is to receive an advance cheque payment to Duma Crusher Ltd before supplying materials. On receipt of payment we will issue you with an invoice and ETR receipt.
