Today, April 15, 2026, marks the 7th anniversary of Tsumugi Kaketsugi Shop.
Thank you always to everyone who supports us on Instagram, to those who have trusted us with their garments, and to everyone interested in the craft of Kaketsugi 😊
Our 7th year theme was “Haku” (refinement and depth).
This year, we welcomed many returning clients, and we were especially encouraged by new customers telling us, “I feel I can trust you with my garments.” It truly made us realize that our efforts are building a sense of trust.
We also continued our work with universities and workshops, and we were able to welcome new artisans to our team—an important step forward for us.
For our 8th year, our theme is “Attraction.”
We aim not only to share the beauty of Kaketsugi, but also to define what makes our shop unique, and how we can continue to grow that value as we train more artisans for the future.
Because this is a niche craft, we want to keep a broad perspective and contribute to the industry from many different angles.
