PC220NLC-12 and PC220NLCi-12 are available now. The new NLC version is tailored for the Italian market and compliant with 2.5 meter transport regulations.

At SaMoTer 2026, Komatsu product manager Vince Porteous introduced the PC220NLC-12 and PC220NLCi-12 crawler excavator. This advanced machine features the latest Komatsu electronic hydraulic system, a powerful side-by-side 504 liters per minute hydraulic pump, and standard 2D capabilities such as a payload meter and semi-automatic grading.

The PC220NLCi-12 excavator has our innovative iMC 3.0 [intelligent Machine Control] technology. In addition, the [Smart Construction Remote] digital solution comes as standard, enabling seamless data transfer between the machine and the office.

The cutest machines of SaMoTer 🌟 The PC01E-2 and PC05E-1 electric micro excavators amused our customers who are used to working on larger Komatsu machines.

The PC01E-2 operates at a weight of 330kg with an overall width of 580mm; the PC05E-1 at 520kg with a width of 690mm. These dimensions make both machines compact enough to fit directly inside a standard freight elevator. Add in a quiet, zero-emission swappable battery system, and it unlocks entirely new possibilities for work in buildings, basements, indoor renovation sites, confined urban spaces, and access-restricted locations.

These units are currently being trialed in Europe as part of a market and technical evaluation.
