We are mobile cases manufacturer starting to make molds/die for mobile cases of our products. This position is focused on making mould with VMC machines so read through the below requirements before applying.

The position includes following:
- Understanding CAM programming and operating VMC machines (Haas) with applied logic to select tools and timing of the workpiece.
- Reads engineering drawing, cutting tools and parameters, fits and tolerances, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches of parts to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications.
- Mounts workpiece on VMC machine with precision and taking precise offsets.
- Tool Setting & programming for various complex parts of the mould/die. May set tools before positioning them in VMC, using precision gauges and instruments.
- Select cutting tools and tooling instructions, according to written specifications or knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics.
- Adjust machine controls and change tool settings in order to keep dimensions within specified tolerances
Compute unspecified dimensions and machine settings, using knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics.
- Preparation of tools for machining, Replace worn tools, and sharpen dull cutting tools and dies using bench grinders or cutter-grinding machines.
- Position, secure, and align cutting tools in tool holders on VMC machines, using hand tools, and verify their positions with measuring instruments.
- Should have worked in reputed Machine Shop / Work Shop with good experience, also machining of mould & dies.
Following is must required:
- Highly experienced in VMC machine operating
- Have used HAAS(USA) VMC Machines
- ITI, Diploma or above required
- 3-5 years experience
- Basic experience in Die/Mould making or machining
- Basic experience in EDM and Laser Etching
