We are currently hiring for the position of a “Senior Purchase Engineer / Executive”.
Job Description:
Purchase:
• To identify, develop & establish vendors to ensure their ability to supply as per our requirements.
• To communicate to vendors in definite terms with respect to our requirements.
• To co-ordinate with the internal dept and try to completing the job without any delay in target’s given by the Project Manager.
• Preparing & releasing Purchase Order.
• Effective vendor development
• Monitor supplier performance
• Obtain No Dues certificate from suppliers and other vendors
• Supplier reconciliation and creditor management
• Responsible for warranty replacements / repairs in co-ordination with service team
• Cost effectiveness
Project Planning & Control:
• Overseeing the course of tasks in ex*****on of the project post planning and finalization of design.
• Preparing master schedules for all projects including resource schedules, ex*****on methodologies, milestones and cash flow projections.
• Monitoring and preparing resource requirements make changes in the same as per revised schedules and cost parameters.
• Tracking and controlling cost accruals based with respect to budgets.
• Material, revenue & vendor payment planning with 2-3 months forecasts considering dynamic conversion rate at the same time maintaining cash flow.
Vendor Development:
• Identifying & developing a reliable vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment, accessories, material with timely delivery so as to minimize project cost.
• Comparing quotations of several vendors based on delivery schedule, transportation cost, location of site and payment terms and finalizing vendors based on trade off between said factors.
• Checking technical competencies of product offered by vendors as compared to client’s requirement and cost involved.
• Attending various exhibitions so as to develop large vendor base so as to maximize competition among vendors.
• Considering site engineers feedback regarding material quality in addition to quality checks for analysing vendors creditability.
MIS:
• Updating & maintain various reports & trackers.
• Presenting data to the management in review meetings.
Other Details:
• Hands on experience in similar role.
• Experience of technical purchase is a must
• Experience in projects / contracts preferred
