Workouts can focus on cardiovascular, aerobics or weight training alone. Circuit training is another type of very effective exercise that can easily be performed in a gym setting. Most gyms have machines that are designed to work one particular body part. These machines can be combined to form a circuit where you can work one body part then move on to another body part in quick succession. There are many fitness machines available in a good fitness center. Most of them work one specific body part, but can be adjusted to work that same part from different angles and can be adjusted to use heavier or lighter resistance. Many gyms strategically set up their equipment to move through each station as efficiently as possible. Most machines will have an exercise guide attached that will explain how to perform the exercise and will also detail which body part is worked. Goals
