3D Concrete printing technology for bringing advancements in the construction industry!

14/10/2026

We are proud to be part of YourStory Tech30 2026!

With a legacy spanning 17 years, YourStory's TechSparks has been celebrating and supporting India's startup ecosystem, with Tech30 recognising 30 of the country's most promising technology startups.

This year's theme, “The New Tech Order,” resonates particularly well with us. It reflects a shift towards technologies that are not just improving existing systems but fundamentally rethinking how industries operate. At MiCoB, this is precisely what we have been working towards in construction.

It is heartening to see Shradha Sharma and the YourStory Media bring much-needed attention to deep-tech innovation and the people behind it. We are grateful to them and to everyone who has believed in and supported MiCoB's journey.

And if you are in Bengaluru on 14th or 15th October, do visit us!

📍 MiCoB Booth | Tech30 Corridor, First Floor, Taj Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru

We would love to meet you, share what we are building and hear your thoughts.

MiCoB, one of the startups from our Accelerator Cohort by GUSEC, has emerged as the "𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿" of Vande Bharatam by Adani Group, receiving a ₹𝟱𝟬 𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗵 prize by Shri Gautam Adani for its innovative approach to the future of construction.

MiCoB is transforming the way we build through 3D concrete printing and advanced construction technology, with the aim of making construction faster, more precise and more efficient.

The win adds to an already significant milestone for the startup.

During the pitching stage, MiCoB also received a ₹30 crore investment commitment from Mr. Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO of Flipkart, and Mr. Ashutosh Valani, Co-Founder of RENÉE Cosmetics. Mr. Karan Adani also extended support for MiCoB’s ongoing and future construction projects.

From being part of the herSTART Accelerator to winning a national platform like Vande Bharatam, MiCoB’s journey reflects the potential of innovative ideas when they are given the right platform, mentorship and opportunities to grow.

Congratulations to Ms Ankita Sinha & Team MiCoB on this well-deserved milestone!

We are proud to see a startup from the GUSEC ecosystem take its innovation to a national stage — and we look forward to seeing the structures, solutions and possibilities they build next.

And another reason to celebrate at MiCoB! ❤️

The Hungry Caterpillar at Ashoka University has made it to Dezeen Awards 2026 Top 50: APAC.🇮🇳

The Top 50: APAC is Dezeen’s editorial selection of standout architecture, interiors and design projects from across the Asia-Pacific region.

Beautifully conceived by Apoorva Shroff Shroff and Lyth design, The brings together bamboo gridshells, recycled materials and 3D printed concrete to create a food street that is as thoughtful as it is distinctive.

MiCoB had the opportunity to 3D print and manufacture the modular concrete kitchens in Ahmedabad, which were later assembled at Ashoka University.

Congratulations to Apoorva Shroff, Param Gala, Khushi Saraiya and the entire Lyth Design team, along with Atelier One, Jurian Sustainability, Jans Bamboo, Placycle, Ashoka University and everyone who brought this beautiful project together.

It makes us incredibly proud to see something we helped build find its place among some of the region’s most exciting design work.

A good week for MiCoB. And a lot more motivation to keep building. ❤️

We won. 🇮🇳

MiCoB is the winner of Adani Vande Bharatam.

It is difficult to fit what this moment means into one post.

MiCoB started with a belief that construction could be approached differently. That technology could help us build faster, with better control over quality and ex*****on, and reach places where conventional construction becomes difficult.

Over the years, that belief has been tested many times.
There have been years of engineering, failed trials, difficult sites, long days, tricky projects, uncertain quarters and moments when it would have been easier to question ourselves or settle for less.

We kept building.

Vande Bharatam gave us the opportunity to put that journey and our vision for the future of construction in front of some of India's most respected business leaders.

To have that vision heard, questioned, encouraged and finally recognised means a great deal to all of us.

But more than the win, we value what comes next. The conversations have already moved from the stage to the ground, and we are excited about the possibilities ahead.

Thank you to the Adani Group and entire Vande Bharatam team, the mentors and the jury for creating a platform where ideas are not just celebrated, but given an opportunity to move towards ex*****on.

To Team MiCoB, this belongs to every person who kept showing up, solving problems and believing in what we were trying to build, even when the path was not always clear.

And to our mentors, investors, incubators, accelerators, partners, vendors and the larger community that has encouraged us, challenged us, opened doors and cheered us on over the years, thank you for being part of our journey.
We are proud of how far we have come.

And very aware of how much more there is to build.
Onwards. 🇮🇳

Revisiting a feature by Bhaskar Group that captured an important part of MiCoB’s early journey.

From our initial experiments at IIT Gandhinagar to building 3D concrete-printed structures for defence and infrastructure, the journey has been shaped by years of research, persistence and learning through ex*****on.

A lot has evolved since this story was published, but the intent remains the same: to build construction technology that solves real problems and performs where it matters.

Thank you Bhaskar group for the feature!
